Interesting post, not surprised. People find it so much more easier to download- whether it be for free or not. No body follows the traditional form of music because technology keeps changing and improving every other second. Everyone wants to be up-to-date with technology. I guess for some people it just seems easier to go sit and download rather than, getting up driving to the store or walking and buying an album.
I agree, Sarah. Also Downloading is free on majority of the websites. It is easy to find a link that is free for any mainstream song. Also carrying around CD players is just not conventional anymore and most people dont want to be limited to listening to their music in the car. They can easily download a bunch of their favourites songs and make a unique tape for their car rides. Now thats something they can't buy at the music store. Although I do feel for artists that work so hard but they generate their money from so many other derivatives, the exposure of the number of times people are downloading their songs just makes them that much more popular.
