This segment covers piracy as an issue, and current issues with radio as a means of music distribution. It tells actual facts about how it has affected the music industry. It asks in the public in the beginning if they download free content, and no one says no. It is simply to show how the majority is preferring to download than going out to purchase.

I enjoyed this video a lot. it really highlited all the positives and the negetives. The small time band experience exposure through the internet while big timecompanies and radios experience loss because everyone prefers to download rather than buy.
ReplyDeleteSince the video mentiosn that people have been down this for ages. So the queston that arises is, are we being too strict and crazy about this or is it really an issue? Should we just move with the times or is it fair to try to control this epidemic?
Most of the people questioned said they would raher download than buy. Its the age of tecnology and downloading is easier. Now people have no time and thats why theres Ebay for shopping online. Inevitably there are music downloads online which work in the same way. I find that downloading is easier, faster and cheaper(or free?) than buying.
